for those of you following the mind-boggling work with science and sound from our dear Russian friends, Evelina and Dmitry (known on these pages for their CAMERA LUCIDA DVD on LINE) have quite an impressive schedule of exhibitions coming up…read on:

1. The most impressive Camera Lucida show that is
coming up is in Shanghai, Shanghai eArts: joint forces
of MIT, ZKM, Center Pompidou and Ars Electronica. The
Chinese claim it will be the biggest media art show
ever. But it is coming up soon — October 19 –

_____________

We will probably participate in Transmediale 08, but
with another work “10000 Peacock Feathers in Foaming
Acid” – a live performance with laser scanning of
soap film surfaces.

We also just finished a new work “SONOLEVITATION”,
levitating 3 slivers of gold on the nodes of a
standing sound wave. I am about to put up a webpage
with documentation in the next day or two. This work
might be next shown in Beijing as part of the
‘cultural Olympics’ one month before the opening of
the Olympic games
